In a way I believe a personal blog is a reflection of the person who writes it – and in a way I believe that introductions fall flat on these kind of blogs. But you gotta start somewhere, you know?

Who am I?
Let’s see. Dalindcy is my name. I’m nineteen. I live in The Netherlands. I study journalism and will hopefully finish my degree in the next couple of months. I like taking pictures and I like writing about whatever is going on in my head. I love reading books and I’m fascinated by history. (When I was eight years old I told my entire elementary school that I wanted to be an archaeologist. That never quite happened, but a girl can dream, right?)
So, what about this blog?
If you know me you know that I’ve had a blog before. I quit it mainly because the entire blog was set up in Dutch, and I wanted to start writing in English. I also wanted it to be perfect which it obviously never was and never will be. (And that’s okay, I realize now.)
What I really want this blog to be is a documentation of who I am and what I love: in the most real way possible. I’ll probably write about my thoughts and emotions, about books I read and documentaries I watch. About new places I visit and about the funny thing that happened to me at the train station yesterday. So, basically everything. Because who doesn’t like rambling about their own life on the internet?
